Ms. Michele Lynn Baker, 39 of Oakland, MD, passed away Tuesday, Arpil 5, 2011 at her residence after a sudden illness.
Michele was born April 10, 1971 in Prince George's County, MD. She was an Administrative Assistant at Garrett County Partnership for Children and Families of Oakland.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dana & Harold Bland and paternal grandparents, Clark & Bernice Baker.
Michele is survived by: daughter-Raine, at home; mother-Debbie Baker, Mt. Lake Park; father-Danny Baker and wife, Barbara, Swanton; two sisters- Amy Sharpless and husband, Tom, and their son Maxxwel, Terra Alta and soon to be daughter and Nicole Baker, Swanton; uncles-Larry Bland, Jacksonville, Fl and Roger Baker, Oakland and aunt-Elaine Baker, Oakland.
Family and friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd St, Oakland, MD, Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A celebration of Michele's life will be held immediately following at 8 p.m. with family and friends offering thoughts and memories.
