Michael Paugh

Michael Wayne Paugh, 65, of Kitzmiller, MD, died on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, at the Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Oakland. Born on July 17, 1952, in Oakland, he was the son of the late Carl and Nellie (Evans) Paugh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Ann Paugh and Bonnie Lou (Paugh) Schrier.

He had many close family and friends who loved him. He had the utmost love for fishing and hunting. He served in the U.S. Army from1975 to 1981 and subsequently served in the Army National Guard.

He is survived by two sisters, Sandra Kay Poore and husband Albert of Martinsburg, WV and Donna Rea Sisler and husband Boyd of Oakland; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

At his request, Michael will be cremated. A memorial service will be held in the C & S FREDLOCK FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller, on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 7 PM with Pastor Matthew Paugh officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the United States Army and the combined honor guard of the American Legion Post #71 of Oakland and the Deer Park VFW Post #10077.
