Michael Stanley Nair, 52, of Aurora, WV, passed away June 27, 2011 at his home.
He was born January 3, 1959 in Oakland, MD, son of the late Thurman Nair. He is survived by his Mother Naomi "Patsy" Nair, Aurora, WV, 2 sons, Donald (Stephanie) Nair, Christopher Nair, 1 daughter Michelle Nair, 1 grandson Andrew Nair all of Uniontown PA., several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Also surviving are 3 very special friends, Liz Daniels, Patty Arbogast and Shad Green, whose love and consideration shown to Mike will never be forgotten, they were true friends to him at all times. Mike was a paramedic for Preston County for 19 years. He joined the Aurora Volunteer Fire Department in 1975 as a junior member, and became a member in 1977. Honorary Auxiliary Retired Teachers member, an EMT for Union Ambulance, he joined the special forces of the Army in 1977. He loved being involved with the Aurora Volunteer Fire Department; he had collected 500 or more collectible fire trucks and enjoyed working with guns. Friends will be received June 28, 2011 at The Aurora Memorial Building from 5 - 8 PM. Funeral services will be held June 29, 2011 at The Brookside Church of the Brethren at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Scott Rush and Pastor Debbie Strawser officiating.. Interment will follow in Eglon Cemetery.
