Michael V Kildow, Jr. 83 of Oakland, MD died Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Oakland Nursing & Rehab Center.
Born December 28, 1926 in Oakland, MD, he was the son of the late Michael and Inez (Hammill) Kildow. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Wilda Irene (Tasker) Kildow, by his second wife Jacqueline Kildow, and by his son Michael "Mickey" Kildow.
Mr. Kildow was a retired drug and alcohol Counselor for the Maryland State Health Department & Shawnee Hills. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion.
Surviving are daughters, Angela "Angie" K. Landers of Mtn. Lake Park, MD, Linda Colvin of Maryland, Michelle Carey of Maryland; one brother William Kildow of Oakland, one sister Betty Hesen of Oakland; and 10 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St., Oakland, MD on Monday, June 14, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Sharon Bernard officiating. The interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery where military honors will be accorded.
