Michael Fulmer

Michael "Mike" A. Fulmer, 58 of Mt. Lake Park, MD went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 15, 2010. He passed away at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born May 10, 1952, in Oakland, MD, son of the late William "Bud" and Inez (Hershman) Fulmer and step dad Stanley Thomas. He was also preceded in death by one sister Joy Ann Fulmer and one grandson Jaron Michael Fulmer who were waiting for him in heaven.

Mike retired from Mettiki Coal after 28 years, of which 25 years he was an outstanding foreman who loved his job, and the men he worked with. He was a member of the Loch Lynn Church of God, where he has been a testimony for God for the last 12 years. He was a member of Mountain Top Hunting Club and an avid fisherman. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren. He especially enjoyed going to his cabin and making memories with his family. Mike's desire in his life & death would be that all would come to know his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his wife and angel of 39 years Susan Marlene (Bowers) Fulmer; one son, Mike and wife Kelli (Iden) Fulmer; two daughters, Becky (Fulmer) Sines and husband Dave and Debbie (Fulmer) House and husband Danny. Eight grandchildren Mariah, Christopher and Jeremiah Sines, Kaitlyn, Courtney and Kierstin House, Ayla and Justyce Fulmer. Two half sisters Sharon (Thomas) Sullivan and husband Dean and Linda (Thomas) Rodeheaver and husband Paul.

Friends and family will be received at the Loch Lynn Church of God, on Friday, September 17, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, September 18, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.

Funeral Services will be Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Ivan Ackerman officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery
