Michael "Mike" Allen DeWitt, 49 of Oakland, MD, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Born February 7, 1962 in Oakland, MD, he was the son of the late Stanley William and Betty Louise (Rodeheaver) DeWitt, Sr. He was also preceded in death by brother-Carl Edward DeWitt.
Mike was an AVID Pittsburgh Steeler Fan. He also owned his own business, Mike's Munchies in Oakland, MD.
Surviving are: brothers-Terry Dewitt and Donald Richard DeWitt, both of Oakland, MD, Stanley William Dewitt, Jr., Deer Park, MD and Darrell Wayne Dewitt, Dallastown, PA; sisters-Nancy Carol Savage, Oakland, MD and Judy Ann Gillespie, Bakerstown, PA
Family and friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd Street, Oakland, MD, from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30,2011.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 31, 2011 at the Crellin United Brethren in Christ Church with Pastor Ed Calhoun officiating.
Interment will be in Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
