Melvin Tephabock

Melvin Hallard Tephabock, 91 of Elk Garden, WV, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Western Maryland Heath Center.
Born May 19, 1920 in Laurel Dale, WV, he was the son of the late William Leonard and Richama Susan (Westfall) Tephabock. Also, preceded in death by wife-Virginia E. (Baker) Tephabock. Melvin was one of 14 children and the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Melvin was a retired farmer and had worked at Laurel Run Mines.
Surviving are: sons-Jerry Tephabock and wife D.J., Ripley, WV and Lane Tephabock and wife, Debbie, Elk Garden, WV; daughter-Linda Warnick and husband, Huey, Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren-eleven; great-grandchildren-two and great-great grandchildren-two.
Family and friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P. A., 710 Church St, Kitzmiller, MD; Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at the Nethken Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. David Steidings officiating.
Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery.
