Melissa Ann Schoch, 31, of Oakland, MD died on Saturday, December 10, 2011.
She was born on September 14, 1980 in Oakland, the daughter of the late David C. Steyer and Linda (Cooper) Steyer Paugh and step-father John Paugh of Oakland. Melissa was a Crew Trainer for McDonald's in Oakland. She was a member of the Loch Lynn Church of God where she was also a member of the choir and was a member of the Kid's Factory.
In addition to her mother and step-father, she is survived by her husand, Adam T. Schoch of Oakland; a brother, D. Scott Steyer; paternal aunt and uncle, Dale and Nellie Harvey; maternal aunts and uncles, David Cooper, James Cooper, Anna Lowers, Naomi Clemmons, and Wanda Paugh. In additon to her father, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Paul and Eileen Steyer; maternal grandparents, Edith and Wilbert Cooper; and maternal uncles, Delbert Cooper and Wilbert Eugene Cooper.
Friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Loch Lynn Church of God with Pastors Ivan and Cindy Ackerman officiating.
Interment will follow in White Church Cemetery.
