Melissa Marie (Broadwater) Aryal, 45, of Jessup passed away on Monday, October 14, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 24, 1968 in Oakland, she was the daughter of Katherine Marie (Broadwater) Wolf of Swanton and the late SFC Thomas Anthony Wolf, who died in 1995. She graduated in 1986 from Fort George G. Meade High School in Fort Meade, MD and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Odenton. She was employed by the National Security Agency for the past 28 years. Melissa was a very active advocate for the No Child Left Behind Act and the Autism Society of America. She participated in all of her children's school activities, as well as after school programs. She greatly enjoyed cooking and preparing meals for her family and loved ones. She was also very talented in crafts, jewelry making and floral arranging. Most importantly, she was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. She never met anyone who didn't love her. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband, Kamal Kumar Aryal, and her two sons, Kiran Kumar Aryal and Tarun Kumar Aryal, all of Jessup; a brother, Michael Vernon Sebree of Lynchburg, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Chris "D.J." Virts in 1998 and her grandparents, Vernon and Ruba Broadwater. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Thursday, October 17th from 6 to 8 PM and on Friday, October 18th from 10 to 11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. Donald Matthews officiating. Interment will follow in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, Melissa's family is requesting donations be made to the Autism Society, 4340 East West Hwy, Suite 350, Bethesda, MD 20814.
