Melinda "Wilma" Alwilda James, 85 of Kitzmiller, MD, passed away Monday, August 22, 2011 at Garrett Memorial Hospital.
Born May 17, 1926 in Shallmar, MD; she was the daughter of the late Walter Leo & Vernia May (Tasker) Willis. She was also preceded in death by husband-Conrad James, Sr.; sister-Shirley Berg; brothers-Raymond, Jimmie, Bernard, Francis & Franklin Willis; grandson-Jason James.
"Wilma" was a homemaker.
Surviving are: sons-Conrad James, Jr. & wife Tanya, Elk Garden, WV and Danny James & wife Sue, Kitzmiller, MD; sisters-Dorothy McCloud, Blaine, WV and Margaret McCoole, McCoole, MD; brother-Gary Willis, Rawlings, MD; grandchildren-Peggy James, Akron, OH, Jamie James & wife Wendy, Elk Garden, WV, Jesse James & wife Chrissy, Trista James & friend Joe, New Creek, WV; Michelle James & friend Jonathan Paugh, Elk Garden, WV; eight great-grandchildren, several nieces & nephews and one sister-in-law.
Family and friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller, MD, Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2011 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in the Kalbaugh Cemetery.
