Mason Madigan

Mason L. Madigan, 87, of Deer Park passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016, at his home. Born on January 21, 1929 in Deer Park, he was the son of the late Charles H. and Carrie M. (Hinebaugh) Madigan. He was the owner of Madigan's Auto Sales and M & N Automobile. He was also a member of the Deer Park United Methodist Church. Mace enjoyed hunting, reading and automobile auctions. He loved spending time with his family and special friends. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Barbara G. (Shank) Madigan; three children, Sharon L. Cole and husband Lloyd of Deer Park, Mike Madigan and Sharon Porter of Mt. Lake Park and Kelly A. Beachy and husband Gary of Swanton; two step-sons, Tim Storey of Deer Park and Tom Storey of Cresaptown; grandchildren, Tammy Fulk and husband Fred, John "Chip" Rowan, Michael Madigan and wife Kim, Elisa Bernard, Brian Rayburn and wife Tiffany, David Beachy and wife Amber, Daniel Beachy and Garrett Beachy; great grandchildren, Destinee Fulk, Jaquelyn Rowan, Caleb Rowan Mikaela Bernard, Brycen Bernard, Rylee Bernard, Connor Madigan, Trenton Switzer and Jackson Beachy; a sister, Juanita Urbas of Meyersdale, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma L. (Uphold) Madigan, to whom he was married for 51 years; sisters, Irene Preston and Louise Hansel; brothers, Niles Madigan, Charles "Bud" Madigan and William "Bill" Madigan; and a grandson in law, Randy Bernard. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Tuesday, April 26th from 4 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, April 27th at 11 AM with Pastor Barbara K. Rexroad officiating. Interment will follow in the Deer Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Deer Park VFD, Southern Rescue Squad, Cindy's Fund or the Deer Park United Methodist Church.Charitable donations may be made to:
