Mary Spencer

Mary (Rostosky) Spencer, 90 of Oakland died Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Cortland Acres. Born on June 12, 1924 in New Eagle, PA, Mary was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Baka) Rostosky. Spunky, independent and adventurous, Mary was married to the love of her life, the late John W. Spencer for over 50 years. Mary was an avid golfer who won many tournaments while living in Red Bank, New Jersey and Boca Raton, FL and enjoyed playing well into her 80's at the Oakland Golf Course. Mary is survived by three brothers; Michael Rostosky and wife Janet of Oakland, Frank Rostosky of Monongahela, PA and John Rostosky and wife Anne of Trenton, NJ; numerous nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. Mary was also preceded in death by her sister Helen, sisters-in-law, Helen Rostosky and Betty Rostosky and brothers George Rostosky and Joe Rostosky. According to her wishes, Mary was cremated. The family has entrusted Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A. to assist with arrangements.
