Mary Miller

Mary Olive Miller, 89, of Laneville, WV passed away December 27, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born December 28, 1922 in Grantsville, MD a daughter of the late Christian J. and Amanda Miller Yoder. She was also preceded in death by 6 brothers and 4 sisters. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survivors include; her husband, Ira S. Miller, 3 sons, Philip (Rose) Miller, LaGrange, IN, Jonathan (Michele) Miller, Sarasota, FL, David (Susan) Miller, Laneville, WV, 4 daughters, Mary Lou (Daniel) Edmands, Hagerstown, MD, Debbie (David) Welch, Oakland, MD, Karen Miller, Accident, MD, Naomi (Sheldon) Martin, Lancaster, PA, sister-in-law, Lois Yoder, Harrisonburg, VA, 17 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 8 step great-grandchildren.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an awesome wife and mother. Some of her hobbies were gardening, sewing, birds and travelling. She and Ira travelled to Romania and Haiti to do mission work, which was something she had a passion for. Other various travels included a train trip to California and 2 trips to Alaska. She attended the Red Creek Bethel Church of the Brethren.

Friends will be received on Sunday December 30, 2012 at Dry Fork Assembly of God Church from 2-4 &6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday December 31, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Dry Fork Assembly of God Church with Rev. John Moyer officiating. Interment will follow in the Red Creek Bethel Cemetery.
