Mary Katherine "Granny" Leslie, 91, of Oakland died on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at home. Born on March 10, 1924 in Corinth, WV, she was the daughter of the late Truman Nethkin and Ida Mae Coulter. She was a clerk at the Hutton Rag Shop for many years and was a member of the Rosedale United Pentecostal Church. In addition to spending time with her family, Granny enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, and playing Yahtzee and Scrabble. She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Schrock of Oakland, Linda Mitchel and husband Grant of Elizabethtown, PA and Debi Nelson and husband Mark of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Tammy (Crosco) Gordiano and husband Tony, Jeremy DeWitt and wife Jamie, Bobby Crosco and wife Michele, Michael "Mickey" DeWitt, Tabitha Moyer and husband Wayne, Phillip Lewis and wife Sarah, Tracey Lewis, Michelle Dale and husband Bill, Lisa Swartz, Eddie Mitchel, Christina Schrock, Patrick Schrock, Jeanine Busser and husband Matt and Stevan DeWitt; 36 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Grieb of New Jersey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe Dewey Leslie; a daughter, Kotchie Crosco; step-father, Preston Coulter; a brother, John Nethkin; and two sisters, Virginia Flanagan and Mae Henry. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Monday, March 16th from 10 to 11 AM after which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Russell Liller officiating. Interment will be in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
