Mary Delaney

Mary Jean Delaney, 81 of Eglon, WV, passed away at Ruby memorial Hospital on January 1, 2021. She was born June 24, 1939 in Clio, MI; a daughter of the late Max and Helen Tapia.

Mrs. Delaney is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harold William Delany Sr., also surviving are three daughters, Deborah Delaney, Christine Delaney, and Stephanie Delaney, 13 grandchildren, Jennifer Li, Danielle Delaney, Steven Delaney, Alissa Marshel, Brain Detling, Eric Marshall Jr., Miranda Marshel, Brandon Delaney, Christian Delaney, Jordan Delaney, Zyle Babcock, Troy Babcock, Scott Babcock and 22 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Harold William Delaney Jr., and a brother Delbert Stenson.

Mary loved to crochet, do crafts, read and enjoyed doing puzzles. She was the back bone and glue to her family.

Friends will be received January 7th 2021, at Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home at 11:00 am until the funeral hour, 1:00 pm, which will be officiated by Pastor Ruth Bullwinkle. Interment will follow in the Texas Cemetery. Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home is honored to be of service to the Delaney family at this time.
