Mary Virginia Darr, 69, of Thomas, WV died January 4, 2014 at St. Francis Medical Center in Midlothian, VA.
She was born April 9, 1944 in Parsons, WV a daughter of the late Cecil and Sylvia Dawson Dumire. Also preceding her in death in 1980 was her first husband, Pat Grow. Survivors include her 2nd husband, William Darr, 1 daughter, Twila Atwell and companion Jerry Collett, 3 brothers; Virgil Dumire, Elkins, WV, Ronald Dumire, Philippi, WV, Jerry Dumire, Parsons, WV, 1 sister; Donnie Eskridge, Thomas, WV, 2 grandchildren; Patrick Nathaniel McCullen and Brennon Michael Atwell.
Mary was employed as an accountant by Canaan Valley State Park for many years. She was a Protestant by faith and she enjoyed reading and doing needlepoint.
Friends will be received on Friday January 10 from 5-8 PM at Hinkle Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 11 at 1:00 PM at Hinkle Funeral Chapel with Rev.
