Mary Jacqueline (Behegan) Baker, 79, of Swanton, formerly of Bel Air, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Born on May 9, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Timothy and Edith (Parrish) Behegan.  Jackie was a graduate if Gwynn Oak High School and Harford Community College.  She retired from her position at the Department of the United States Army where she worked as a budget analyst for over 21 years.  In addition to spending time with her family, Jackie enjoyed reading, crochet, needlepoint and computer games.  Jackie is survived by her husband of 62 years, Christian Baker; four daughters, Loreen L. Prescott and husband Todd of Baltimore, MD, Penny L. Hinton and husband Thomas of Alma, WV, Robin D. Ashford and husband Randy of  Harve De Grace, MD, and Terry C. Pearce and husband Richard of Cincinnati, OH; a grandson, Jessie Baker and wife Jessica; two great grandchildren; and two brothers, Timothy Behegan and wife Cheryl and Robert Behegan and wife Kay.  In accordance with Jackie’s wishes, she will be cremated and no services are planned at this time.  The C & S FREDLOCK FUNERAL HOME, P.A., Oakland has been entrusted with arrangements.  Jackie’s family would like to thank Hospice of Garrett County for their compassionate care.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Garrett County, PO Box 271, Oakland, MD 21550.  Condolences for the family may be left at www.csfredlockfh.com
