Marlene Smith, 79, of Oakland, MD, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011 at her residence.
Born April 6, 1931 in Oakland, MD, she was the daughter of the late, Hobert and Della (Kisner) Welch.
Surviving are: husband-Clayton Smith; two daughters, Carol Ann Butler and Linda Lou Kourey, both of Oakland; brother, Roger Welch, Oakland; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be recieved at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd Street, Oakland, Md, on Monday March 21, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Sam Moon officiating.
Interment will be in the Ferndale Cemetery.
