Marjorie Edna Funk, 82, of Oakland died on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born on March 17, 1933 in Elizabeth, PA, she was a daughter of the late James H. and Clara (Andrews) Taylor. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed spending time with the ladies, working crossword puzzles and painting. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; a sister in law, Dorothy Taylor of Arizona; and a special friend, Dwight Dyer of West Newton, Pennsylvania. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, LaVere M. Funk; three brothers, William and his wife Margaret, Warren and James Taylor; and two sisters, Clara Anderson and her husband Wes and Jean Anderson and her husband Charles. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Tuesday, July 21st from 2 to 4 PM after which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Andy Gannon officiating. Interment will be private.
