Marjorie M. "Margie" Bell, 86, of Oakland died on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at the Garrett County Memorial Hospital. Born on January 21, 1928 in Westernport, she was the daughter of the late Rebecca (Rhodes) Cyrus. Margie enjoyed cooking and spending time with her daughter and friends. She was Pentecostal by faith and loved everyone. She is survived by a daughter, Sarah Jane Bell and her many friends from Appalachian Crossroads and the Bittinger Mennonite Church. She was preceded in death by husband, John Bell; a son, Bobby Bell; three sisters; one brother; and a stepfather, Fred Cyrus. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Tuesday, September 23rd from 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, September 24th at 10 AM with Pastor Leonard Orendorf and Pastor Keith Yoder officiating. Interment will be in the Glendale Cemetery.
