Marion Hinebaugh

Marion Lucille (Field) Hinebaugh, 86, of Oakland passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home. Born on September 7, 1929 in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late David Earl and Gladys Marie (Blaney) Field. A graduate of Oakland High School, Marion had begun working for the H.P "Half-Price" Store at the age of twelve. She later completed her education at St. Mary's College in Baltimore, after which she worked for Dr. Andy Mance for several years before holding positions at the Sterling Chicken Factory, IBMI and then on to Bausch & Lomb where she retired as supervisor of final inspection in January of 1992. She had been a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. In addition to spending time with her family, Marion enjoyed gardening and knitting. She enjoyed the presence and laughter of all her children. She is survived by two children, Ernest Blaney Hinebaugh of Oakland and Lisa Marie Hinebaugh Phillips of Chesapeake, VA; three grandchildren, Ricardo Spencer Phillips of Chesapeake, VA, Christopher Ernest Hinebaugh of Elabell, GA and Justin Dallas Hinebaugh of Oakland; five great grand children, Jack Raymond Skidmore Hinebaugh, Lawrence Ocie Hinebaugh, Jordan Shamya Phillips, Ricardo Spencer Phillips, Jr. and Genesis Brielle Phillips; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Amaziah Claude Field, Ruth "Polly" Field Solt, Kathleen Evelyn Field Buchman, Mary Vivian Field, Frederick Earl Field and Benjamin Earl Field. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Sunday, February 28th from 1 to 3 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, February 29th at 10 AM with Rev. Dr. C. Scott Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.
