Marion Cangley

Marion “Bunny” Dolores Cangley, 89, passed away peacefully at her home in Charlotte, NC on Sunday, December 24th, 2017.
She was born on August 10, 1928 in Douglas, West Virginia and graduated in 1946 from Thomas High School in Thomas, West Virginia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Loupie Lambruno and Mary Elizabeth (Greco) Lambruno of Thomas, West Virginia; her late husband of over 60 years, Robert “Bob” Cangley; and her brother Raymond “Jack” Lambruno also of Thomas, West Virginia.
She was an active member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Weirton, West Virginia where she lived for 59 years. She was also a remarkable homemaker and a dedicated, selfless Mother and Grandmother.
Bunny will be lovingly remembered by her son Bob & wife Cynthia of Portland, Oregon; by her daughter Lori and son Mike both of Charlotte, North Carolina; and by her three grandchildren Courtney, Ryan, and Jordan all of Charlotte, North Carolina. Bunny will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 6th, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Thomas, West Virginia with Father Timothy J. Grassi as celebrant. Interment following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Thomas, West Virginia.
