Margaret Michaels

Margaret Ellen Michaels, 69, of Kitzmiller, MD died on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Garrett Regional Medical Center. Born on April 25, 1952, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Acie E. Bray and Twila M. (Wilson) Paugh.
She worked for the United States Postal Service, serving the Kitzmiller and surrounding areas. She was a member of the Hi-Way Assembly of God.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Daniel Richard Michaels; her children, Rick Michaels and wife Beverly Wolford of Elkins, WV and Kristen Sweitzer of Kitzmiller; five grandchildren, Ashton Chilton and husband Dakota, Ryan Michaels, Cole, Brody and Cloe Sweitzer; one great grandson, Pierce Chilton; brother, Robert Fletcher and wife Maria of Kitzmiller; half siblings, Tina, George and John Bray; brother in law, Jack Michaels; two sisters in law, Margaret McCloud and husband Al of Woodbridge, VA and Pam Miller and husband Larry of Hagerstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two stepfathers, James Paugh and Walter Fletcher, and a sister, Diane Paugh and husband Daniel.
Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Sunday, December 12, 2021, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Hi-Way Assembly of God, 3634 Kitzmiller Rd, Kitzmiller on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 11 AM with Rev. Dr. Matthew Paugh officiating. Interment will follow in the Kalbaugh Cemetery, Elk Garden, WV.
