Lucy Mae Chew, 67, of Harman, West Virginia passed away January 7th, 2018 in Keyser, West Virginia. She was born August 1, 1950 in Harman, West Virginia a daughter of the late Catherine Pennington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Dempsey Chew in 2013 and two brothers, Carl Raines and Larry Pennington.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy (Jessica) Chew, Maysville, WV, one step-son, Paul Chew Jr., Dundalk, MD, and one step-daughter, Ginger (Bob) Archer, Dundalk, MD, one sister, Linda Pennington, two grandchildren, Ella and Mason Chew, two step-grandchildren, Rob and Missy Archer, and one step-great-grandchild, Kali Archer.
Mrs. Chew worked as a caretaker for many years through the Harman Senior Center. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid animal lover and took care of countless stray animals.
Friends will be received Wednesday, January 10, 3-7 PM at Harman Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, January 11, at Harman Presbyterian Church with Rev. Eli Hostetler officiating. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.hinklefuneralhome.com
