Loretta Jean DiMaio, 78, of Thomas, West Virginia passed away May 12, 2019 at Cortland Acres in Thomas, West Virginia. She was born September 7, 1940 in Thomas, West Virginia a daughter of the late Nick and Phillipine DiMaio.
She is survived by one sister, Ann D. Baldwin and one nephew, Mark Baldwin and wife, Sharon, all of Bowie, Maryland.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Rose DiMaio.
Retta, as she was known by family and friends, was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She devoted her adult life to caring for her aging parents. She graduated Mountaineer High School in 1958 and was a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
At the request of Ms. DiMaio, she will be cremated. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 11:00 am, May 29, at St.Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Condolences can be made to the family at www.hinklefennerfuneralhome.com
