Loraine Sims

Loraine Ellen Sims, 78, of Kitzmiller, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2019 at Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation.  Born on August 14, 1940 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Foster “Pete” and Virginia (Hanna) Tasker.  Loraine was a homemaker who enjoyed the simple life spending time with her family camping, cooking meals and talking on the telephone.  She attended Walnut Bottom Assembly of God Church and Hiway Assembly of God Church.  Loraine is survived by her children, John Paugh, Sr. and wife Penny of Kitzmiller, Ethel Fishel and husband Ron of Oakland, Richard “Bones” Paugh and wife Bonnie of Green Spring, WV, Brenda Lee and husband Robert of Kitzmiller, Malcolm “Mike” Paugh and Peggy Riggleman of Oakland; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 17 years, Harry Sims in December 2006; and two brothers, Richard “Dick” Tasker and Ronald Tasker.  Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.  A funeral service will be held at the Walnut Bottom Assembly of God Church on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 11 AM with Pastor George Tichinel officiating.  Interment will be in Mt.
