Lola Barfield

Lola Genevieve Barfield, 82, of Oakland died on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home. Born on August 26, 1932 in Swanton, she was the daughter of the late Webster E. and Hallie Ruth (Winters) Weimer. Lola and her husband owned and operated a moving company. She is survived by a son, Ron Rosier of TX; a sister, Louella "Lou" Boyce of Oakland; two brothers, Wayne Weimer of Keyser, WV and Don Weimer of SC; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Barfield and a daughter, Diane. According to her wishes she was cremated. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Swanton, MD. The BURDOCK-FREDLOCK FUNERAL HOME, P.A., Oakland assisted the family with arrangements.
