Lois Nogle

Lois Mae (Steyer) Nogle, 84, of Oakland died on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home. Born on November 16, 1927 in Steyer, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ervin S. and Edna L. (Manks) Steyer. Lois was member of The Apostolics of Oakland Church and was a prayer warrior. She had a ready smile and never met a stranger. She is survived by three daughters, Linda DeWitt of Oakland, Suzanne Ann Johnson and husband Henry Allen of Oakland, and Gail Dever and husband Joseph, Sr. of Mtn. Lake Park; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a sister, MaryAnn Greene of Ellenboro, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Holmes Nogle in 2005; a grandson, Donald S. Tesseneer; a brother, Donald M. Steyer; and a son-in-law, Harold "Squeek" DeWitt. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, June 19th. A funeral service will be held at The Apostolics of Oakland Church, Mtn. Lake Park on Wednesday, June 20th at 11 AM with Rev. Jonathan DeWitt, Rev. Joseph Dever, Jr. and Rev. Gregory Cummings officiating. Interment will follow in White Church Cemetery.
