Linda Hauser

Linda Mae Hauser, 65, of Mtn. Lake Park died on Friday, November 26, 2021, at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born on June 20, 1956, in Garrett County, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Lee and Erma Marie (Beeman) Hauser.
Linda was a cook and food service coordinator for the Garrett County Lighthouse for twenty years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed collecting Longaberger baskets and coins; she also loved history. Most of all, Linda loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Belinda Marie Weaver and husband Terry of Eglon, WV; her son, Chad Bruce DeWitt of Mtn. Lake Park; grandchildren, Hunter Weaver, Gabriel Weaver, and Noah DeWitt; her boyfriend, David Stewart of Oakland; her brothers, John L. Hauser and wife Carolyn and Ronnie D. Hauser, both of Oakland; sisters, Evelyn M. Durst of Chipley, FL and Carol S. Kisner and husband Jamie of Oakland; a brother-in-law, Elwood "Woodie" Sweitzer of Oakland; dear friends, Connie Swan, Lisa Kitzmiller, Jackie Hawk, Kristine Cline and Jessica Dodge; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy "Dottie" Sweitzer.
Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 3 to 6 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 11 AM with her son-in-law, Pastor Terry Weaver officiating.
According to Linda's wishes, she will be cremated after the service.
