Linda Fike

Linda Sue (Shaffer) Fike, 74, of Deer Park went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 20, 2021, at her home. Born on July 1, 1947, in Bloomington, MD she was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Mary Elizabeth (O'Brien) Shaffer.
She loved books, flea markets, antiques, and sang in the church choir for many years. She was a faithful member of Grace Reformed Church. "Shafe" loved spending time with "The Girls" from the class of '65. Her friends and family remember her fondly for her sense of humor and faith.
She is survived by her husband, Emerson "Buck" Fike; sons, Chad Fike and wife Crystal of Oakland and Ryan Fike and partner Angela Casper of Chicago, IL; and a cousin who was more like a sister, Janice Wells of Salem, OH.
Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, from 10 AM to 12 PM. A funeral service will be held at 12 PM with Pastor Robert Bonser officiating. Interment will be in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
