Linda Bray

Linda Bray, 73, of Oakland died on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. Born on June 19, 1947, in Vindex, she was the daughter of the late Albert L. and Nellie Emma (Knox) Bray.

Linda worked for First United Bank & Trust and for the Garrett County Department of Social Services. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by brothers, Ronald Bray and wife, Louise of Kitzmiller, Garry Bray and wife, Becky of Bloomington, Danny Bray and Carl Bray, both of Kitzmiller and Donnie Bray of Oakland; sisters, Betty Barrick and husband Jim and Marcia Moore and husband Jim, both of Mtn. Lake Park; two special nieces, Amanda and Kristin Moore and a special great niece who arrived the day before she died, Ella Rae; and numerous other nieces, nephews, great nieces and a great nephew.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roscoe Wayne Bray.

Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Sunday, January 3, 2021, from 3 to 6 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, January 4, 2021, at 11 AM with Pastor Carl Fike and Rev. Dr. Matthew Paugh officiating. Face masks and social distancing will be required and if you or a family member are feeling ill, we ask that you stay home and visit with the family at a later time. Interment will be in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
