Linda passed away suddenly at the age of 57 on Saturday March 10, 2018 while returning home from Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. No one was injured in the resulting low speed crash. Cause of death unknown.

Linda was survived by her mother, Barbara (Pregley) Martin, brother Bill Bozic, brother John Bozic, daughter Kamie (Farr) Moats, and three granddaughters, Skyler (15), Kayla (12) and Lily (6) Moats.

Linda was preceded in death by her sister Karen Bozic (21) and Father William F. Bozic (59)

The Lord must have figured that Linda had done all she needed to do. The day after she signed the court documents granting her legal guardianship of her three granddaughters he swiftly called her home.

In the last two years alone, Linda took in all three granddaughters (Then 13, 11 and 4), survived Stage four Ovarian Cancer, worked the system to quickly obtain a kidney transplant for the oldest, while still focusing on the educational and emotional needs of all three. As Dad would have said, she “Laid a good foundation” under the kids. As co-successor guardians, Dawn and I are now honored to continue to build on that foundation.

All 57 of her years were lovingly shared with so many of us. This website will attempt to collect, in one place, a digital memorial of Linda.

If you have a laptop computer, please plan on bringing it to the memorial service June 2. If you have digital picture files to share, bring them on a thumb drive (and/or upload them to the tribute wall here on this website). I will have numerous pictures on numerous thumb drives so that we can set up numerous stations around the church (Each having a unique slide show on it) Also might be a good idea to bring finger food, sandwiches and drinks if you can.

The memorial service will be held at the Lutheran Church in Davis WV on June 2 from 10:00AM to 2:00PM (We used to attend church there together in the early 70’s)
