Lilly Bennett

Lilly Catherine Bennett, 67, of Dry Fork, passed away on July 24, 2024 at her home surrounded by family. Born in Elkins, on November 12, 1956, she was the daughter of the late George Adam Bennett and Maxine Virginia (Newbraugh) Bennett.

Lilly attended Harman School, was a proud homemaker and enjoyed working on the farm. In her spare time, she enjoyed horseback riding, putting together puzzles, and playing with her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her siblings, Virginia Cole of Martinsburg, Clellon Bennett of Job, Bonnie Bright of West Union, Bill Bennett of Beverly, and Bob Bennett of Bunker Hill; a brother in law, Buck Allman; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Allman.

Lilly's wishes to be cremated was honored and no services are scheduled.

The Hinkle-Fenner Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Bennett family at this time.
