Lesia Pennington

Lesia A. Pennington, 52, of Elk Garden, WV went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 5, 2014. Born on September 13, 1961 in Oakland, she was the daughter of Shirley M. (Pyle) Watts of Elk Garden and the late Thomas D. Watts. She was a past member of the Sulphur United Methodist Church, where she had been a lay speaker. She had also attended the Elk Garden Assembly of God and The House of Prayer. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 32 years, Rick Pennington; a daughter, Amanda Pennington of Elk Garden; paternal grandmother, Frances Watts; a sister in law, Debra Smith and husband Mike; brothers in law, Charlie Pennington and wife Debbie and Roger "Hoss" Pennington; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Deborah E. Watts, in 1986. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 10 AM in the Kalbaugh Cemetery, Elk Garden with Rev. Leslie A. Hipp and Rev. Shawn McDowell officiating.
