Leroy Reams

Leroy R. “Bobby” Reams, 82, of Oakland, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Dennett Road Manor. Born on June 1, 1935 in Oakland, he was the son of the late Bliss and Grace Reams.  Bobby was a man who took pride in the care of his home and belongings. He was a hard worker and a life member of the Local 616 Laborers Union.  He enjoyed the music and fellowship of Pine Grove Church of the Brethren where he was a member since childhood.  He enjoyed being outdoors loving nature, feeding the birds and his cats.  Bobby is survived by his daughter, Joyce Reams of Cumberland; two grandsons that he raised as his own, Jason DelSignore and wife Lori and Phillip Reams, all of Oakland; grandchildren, Geoffrey Reams of Oakland, Carissa Baker of OH, Eric Baker of Cumberland and Mikey Dillon of Mt. Storm; numerous great grandchildren; a brother, Ralph Reams and wife Sheila of Oakland; a sister, Lois Latin of Oakland; special friends, Pete and Kathy Savage.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy A. Reams in November 2012; a son, Michael Reams; a daughter, Kimberly Dillon; and five siblings. Friends will be received at the C & S FREDLOCK FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM and again on Thursday, April 19 from 10-11 AM at the Pine Grove Church of the Brethren at which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Gary Clem officiating. Interment will be in Taylor Sines Cemetery.  Bobby’s family would like to thank the staff at Dennett Road Manor, Garrett Regional Medical Center and Hospice of Garrett County for the compassion and care given to Bobby.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Garrett County, PO Box 271, Oakland, MD 21550.  www.csfredlockfh.com
