Leora Yvonne Lemon, 82, of Morgantown, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Born on August 12, 1935 in Cassville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Beulah L. (Snell) Murphy. Leora was a strong woman of faith and a prayer warrior at the Miracle Mission Church where she was a member. She loving being with her family and was a wonderful wife, mom and grandma. She enjoyed crafting, home remodeling and cooking. Leora was known for her world famous potato salad. Leora is survived by her children, Donnie Lemon and wife Patty of Mt. Morris, Debra Lemon and fiancé Gasper Golden of Morgantown and Phillip Lemon of Morgantown; grandchildren, Brandi Paugh and husband Jody of Elk Garden, Travis Lemon and wife Gina of Morgantown, Lee Brown of Hollywood, FL, Felicity Matos and husband Sammy of Fairmont, Kiersten Lemon and fiancé Josh Clark of Mt. Morris; great grandchildren, Tyler Mason, Mckenzie Paugh, Avery Kunjara, Anna and Brody Lemon; a brother, Floyd E. Murphy and wife Gloria; many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Jean Jones and husband Eugene, Faye Murphy; special friend, Greg Harvey; and a special little boy, Joel. In addition to her parents and her husband, Lloyd Lee Lemon, she was preceded in death by six siblings, Lyda, Wilma, Phyllis, Forman, William and Dewaine. The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland, has been entrusted with arrangements. All services were private.
