Lenora Flowers

Lenora Mae Flowers, 90, of Oakland, passed away on August 21, 2024, at Garrett Regional Medical Center. Born on December 13, 1933, in Eglon, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Artemis and Viola Mae (Shillinberg) McWilliams.

Lenora was the owner and operator of Lenora's Fabric and Yarn where she supplied surrounding communities with all their sewing essentials. She was Christian by faith. She enjoyed reading, knitting, baking and sewing. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence "Buck" Flowers; her son, Rockford "Rocky" Flowers; her sister, Linda McGinn; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Leonard and Leroy McWilliams.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 4 to 7 PM, at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. Second St., Oakland. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 11 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Sam Moon officiating. Interment will follow in the Redhouse Lutheran Cemetery.
