Lee Roy McCloud, 94 of Blaine, WV, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital.
Born, January 16, 1916 in Barnum, WV, he was the son of the late John Henry and Jessie Belle (Kirby) McCloud.
Lee was a World War II Veteran serving in the United States Army. He was a member of the Polar Bear Association of WWII and VFW Commander in Blaine for four years.
Surviving are: wife of 64 years, Bertha (Willis) McCloud; sons, Alvin McCloud and wife Margaret, Woodbridge, VA, Roy McCloud and wife Melanie, North Tonawada, NY and Marvin McCloud and wife Nancy, Blaine, WV; daughter, Patricia Stiles and husband Donald , Kitzmiller, MD; brother, Cecil J. McCloud, Kitzmiller; sister, Flossie Conley, Mt. Lake Park, MD; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church Street, Kitzmiller, MD, Sunday, January 2, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 3, 2011 in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Lee Robertson officiating.
Interment will be in the Kalbaugh Cemetery, Elk Garden, WV.
