Leatrice Yost

Leatrice Mildred "Lee" Yost, 87, of Oakland went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Born on October 24, 1926 in Crellin, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Anna (Peterson) Lee. She had been employed at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Cornish Manor, Big Tee Burger and Tomanetti's. Lee was a member of the Crellin Assembly of God Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will always be remembered as a woman who loved her husband dearly. She is survived by three sons, Keith Cannon and wife Harriet of Oakland, Jerry Cannon and wife Louise of Grand Haven, MI, and Harold Cannon and wife Peggy of Oakland; grandchildren, Jason Cannon, Beth Sivillis, Shelli Hill, Bryan Cannon and Kerri Everd; six great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Norma Liston and Phyllis Edgar; and a brother, George Lee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Lee Yost, in 2012 and a grandson, Mark Cannon. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Friday, April 18th from 4 to 8 PM and on Saturday, April 19th from 10 to 11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Paul Snyder officiating. Interment will follow in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 with memo: To be used in Garrett Co., MD.
