Lawrence Dale Childers, age 77, entered into God's loving hands on November 27, 2014 surrounded by his beloved family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

After working for numerous contractors throughout WV, Washington, D.C & Md, he retired in 1996 and with his wife by his side, he started the next chapter of his multi-talented life residing both in Jenningston's Farm, Red Creek, WV and The Gold Coaster Resort in Homestead, Fl..
Dale was a member and senior leader in the Job Church of God in Harman, WV where he faithfully served his Lord and blessed the congregation with his beautiful voice. He & Bonnie graciously shared their singing abilities with local nursing facilities including, Nella's, Elkins Rehabilitation & Care Center and Grant County Nursing Home, where they won Group of the Year in 2013. His other passion was driving his antique, candy apple red, 1927 Model A in local parades. His talents for building homes (in his spare time!) and working tirelessly to remodel multiple churches never ceased to amaze all who knew him.
