Larry Glenn Crosco, 85, of Oakland, MD, died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Mon General Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Born on July 7, 1926 in Vindex, he was the son of the late Tony and Estella (Knox) Crosco. He was the husband of Lucille V. (Uphold) Crosco. Larry was an Army veteran having served in WWII, a car salesman and member of the American Legion, Proctor-Kildow Post in Oakland and the Deer Park VFW. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Gary Crosco of Oakland; two daughters, Sandy Plessinger and Carolyn Elliott both of Oakland; two sisters, Esther Holler and Flora Burton both of Oakland; also eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Friends will be received on Monday, August 29th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the David A. Burdock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N. 2nd St., Oakland, MD 21550 where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Barbara Rexrode officiating. Interment will be in Garrett County Memorial Gardens with military honors accorded.
