Kevin Moyer

Kevin Dwayne Moyer, 68, of Saint Petersburg, FL, formerly of Oakland, MD, died on April 21, 2024, at Oak Manor Health Care & Rehabilitation in Largo, FL. He was born on September 19, 1955, in Oakland and was the son of Delores (Swartzentruber) Moyer of Oakland and the late Jerome K. Moyer. Kevin had owned and operated a restaurant and, after selling the restaurant, he worked for Exxon Mobile in quality control until his retirement. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Jay Moyer and wife Joyce of Oakland, and Jeff Moyer and wife Helen of Red House; one niece, Aimee Schwinabart and husband Troy; two nephews, Eric Moyer and wife Becky, and Josh Moyer; four great nieces; and two aunts, Lois Swartzentruber and Gloria Maffett. In accordance with Kevin's wishes, his remains were cremated. A memorial service will be celebrated at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 6 S. Second St., Oakland on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 11 AM with Rev. Tom Omholt officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial can be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 6 S. Second St., Oakland, MD 21550.
