Keith Eugene Blamble, Jr. died October 8, 2016 in New Orleans, LA. He was born December 18, 1979 in Cumberland, MD a son of Keith Eugene and Sandra Lynn Slaubaugh Blamble. Also surviving are 1 brother; Jeremy Blamble, Oakland, MD, grandparent; Frances V. Judy Slaubaugh and husband Joseph, deceased, uncles; Richard (Donna) Blamble, Herbert “Fuz” (Cheryl) Harvey, both of Oakland, MD, Jeffrey (Teresa) Slaubaugh, Cleveland, OH, Joseph Slaubaugh, Lodi, OH, and Jimmie (Lori) Slaubaugh, Cleveland, OH aunts; Sandra Perry, TX, Kathryn Harvey, Eastern Shore, MD, Julia (Jim) Gentile, Parma Heights, OH, Josette Slaubaugh, Jeanette Slaubaugh and Jaclyn Slaubaugh all of Lodi, OH and many great aunts and uncles, and many great lifelong friends, especially Franco Korpias and Carly Eichelberger.
Mr. Blamble attended the Maryland School for the Deaf. He later earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. and then his Master’s Degree at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. He was employed as an adjunct professor at Delgado Community College in New Orleans, LA. He enjoyed travelling worldwide having crossed the globe and most continents several times. He also enjoyed snowboarding in Colorado and marksmanship.
At the request of the deceased his remains will be cremated. A memorial service will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 19, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Oakland, MD with Rev. Dr. C. Scott Robinson officiating. Hinkle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. www.hinklefineralhome.com
