June 15, 1922 — September 13, 2010

June Elizabeth Biser, 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 13, 2010.

June was born in Oakland on June 15, 1922 to Asa M. Queer and Mary Myrtle Whitlatch Queer. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Baby Wilda Queer, Lorena Crouch, and Reba Simpson; son Rodger Mason; grandson Mark Zampogna; great-grandson Cody Ferguson; special cousin Anna Tolson.

She is survived by son Charles Mason and wife Lorraine, son Donald Mason and wife Becky, daughter-in-law Nancy Mason, daughter Janet Wallis and husband Harry, son Marshall Biser Jr., daughter Beth Hardy and husband Francis, son David Biser and wife Sandy. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

June served as manager of Meadows East Apartments and as bookkeeper for DHIA for many years. She was active in many roles as a long-time member of Oak Park Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crafts, and spending time with her family. She will be especially remembered by all who knew her as a loving, patient and giving person. June's family would like to thank everyone who was a part of her life, those who served her and those she ministered to.

A memorial service in June's honor will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Pleasant View Baptist Church. Grandsons Pastor Donnie Mason and Pastor Wally Weeks will lead the service. Private interment will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
