Judy Esenwein

Judy Gail (Tasker) Esenwein, age 59, of Swanton, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family.  Born on December 23, 1961 in Oakland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Junior D. "Peach" and Beulah L. (Kifer) Tasker.

Judy was a graduate of Bruce High School, Class of 1979 and she attended Garrett College.  She held various data processing jobs throughout the years working at TDeck, Merkle and also at Morgantown Orthotics and Prosthetics Service as an administrative/insurance assistant.  Judy was a kindhearted soul who easily befriended everyone she met.  With Judy's passing, her family and friends will remember her smile, her laugh and know that a piece of their heart is now missing.

Judy is survived by her husband of 27 years, Stan Esenwein; her soul sister, Wendy Friend-Paugh and husband Kenny of Oakland; Uncle Ronald "Dale" Tasker of Swanton; Aunt Dessie "Darlene" Otto of Swanton; and numerous special cousins.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her brother by heart, Henry Kifer.

Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 2-4:00 PM and again from 6-8:00 PM.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jimmy Bentley officiating.  Interment will be held in Deer Park Cemetery.
