Judith Whitacre

Judith Ilene (Harvey) Whitacre, 69, of Kitzmiller, died on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 19, 1943 in Oakland, she was daughter of the late Carl and Madeline (Moore) Harvey. Judith was a member of the Hi-Way Assembly of God Church on Kitzmiller Road and enjoyed painting pictures. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Kenneth "Ray" Whitacre; four children, Bill Whitacre and wife Tammy of Kitzmiller, Steve Whitacre and wife Sandy of Oakland, Todd Whitacre and wife Sue of Kitzmiller, and Lori Stieringer and husband Carl of Kitzmiller; nine grandchildren, Billy Whitacre, Bryant Whitacre, Christopher Whitacre, Elyana Whitacre, Ashley Whitacre, Tyler Whitacre, Cory Stieringer, Brandon Stieringer and Connor Stieringer; a sister, Brenda Ravenscroft of VA; and two brothers, Ron and Greg Harvey, both of Kitzmiller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Quick. Friends will be received at the Burdock-Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church St., Kitzmiller on Monday, August 27th from 5 to 8 PM and the Hi-Way Assembly of God Church, 3634 Kitzmiller Rd., Kitzmiller on Tuesday from 12 to 1 PM at which time a funeral service will be held with Rev. John Friend officiating. Interment will follow in Deer Park Cemetery.
