Judith Hauser

Judith “Judy” Lorraine (Dignan) Hauser, 75, of Red House, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2019 at Oakland Nursing and Rehabilitation. Born on September 28, 1943, in Oakland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Nelson and Vera Francis (Wildensen) Dignan. Judy was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Red House where she was a member of Ladies Sewing Circle. She has been a resident of Oakland Nursing and Rehab Center for the past year and a half. Before that, she was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, word and number search puzzles, reading and watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family, pets and an occasional off-road adventure. Judy is survived by a daughter, Lisa Marie Skipper and husband Frank of Swanton; a son-in-law, Timothy John Skipper of Terra Alta; grandchildren, Daniel Nathan Skipper of Terra Alta, Jordan Thomas Skipper of Swanton, Kelsey James Skipper and fiancé Jessica Yutzy of Bittinger, Rachel Lauren Wall and husband David of Oakland, Kerri Paige Sanders and husband Cody of Terra Alta; a great-grandson, Grayson James Skipper of Bittinger; great granddogs, Daphne, Scooter and Riley; a brother, Hayes Dignan of Bayard and a sister, Edith Keifer of Elk Garden; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Eugene “Gene” Hauser; and a daughter, Cheryl Ann (Hauser) Skipper. Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2ndSt., Oakland on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 5-8 PM and again on Friday, May 17, 2019 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Red House from 10-11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Michael Wright officiating. Interment will be held in Red House Lutheran Cemetery.
