Juanita Stemple

Juanita Kathryne Stemple, 96, of Eglon, went home to be with her Lord on March 19, 2025, at Oakland Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born on July 17, 1928, in Horse Shoe Run, she was the daughter of the late Gus Lawrence and Lura Agnes (Harsh) Calcamp.

Juanita was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed quilting, sewing, and maintaining her yard. She loved sewing so much that she would wear out a sewing machine in a year. She attended Maple Grove Assembly of God Church and Brookside Covenant Brethren Church, where she found comfort in her faith and community. Her life revolved around her home and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her two children, Dorothy Roth and husband Willard of Eglon, and Adrain Stemple and wife Mary of Amboy; three grandchildren, Williard Roth Jr., and wife Amy, Alan Roth, and Adrain Stemple II and wife Shannon; six great grandchildren, Tyler Roth and wife Megan, Tayler George and husband Tynan, Darren Roth and wife Macy, Emily Roth, Braylon Stemple, and Abigail Stemple; three great great grandchildren, Barrett George, Brynlee George, and Walker Roth; and her two sisters, Delores Kelley and Virginia Roth and husband Gay.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Stemple; a granddaughter in law, Carla Roth; and six siblings, Lawrence, Cecil, Donald, Wayne, John, and Lela.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Maple Grove Assembly of God Church or the Accident Community Cemetery.

Friends will be received on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM, at the Fredlock & Fenner Funeral Homes - Davis Chapel, 567 Thomas Avenue, Davis, WV. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Mou officiating. Interment will follow in the Accident Community Cemetery.
