Juanita Varner Mallow age 83, being surrounded by her family, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Aug 20, 2017. She was born May 22, 1934 a daughter of Johnie and Goldie Burns Varner.
On October 21, 1953 she married Keith Mallow who departed this life February 12, 2011.
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by an infant daughter, two infant grandchildren, one brother, Carl Varner, two sisters, Kathryn Teter, and Jennie Teter.
Left to cherish her memories are her five children, Patti Cooper, Jean (Jerry)Sebastian, Debbie(Kevin) Lawrence, Danny (Beth) Mallow, Cheryl (Dana) Pennington, Seven Grandchildren, Tommy (Michele) Cooper, Zach (Sarah) Cooper, Sierra (Nick) Kile, Kristy (Nolan) King, Travis Lawrence, Clayton Mallow, Daylen Pennington, seven great grandchildren, Alexis, Allison, Tanner, Zayde, Rylen, Hadley, Paisley, Also survived by, two Sisters, Grace Wolford, Ann Lawrence, and one brother, Joe Varner.
Mrs. Mallow enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved flowers, shopping, baking, bluegrass music, and the time spent with her late husband on Sunday drives.
In her younger years she enjoyed weaving and quilting with her Dryfork sewing circle friends.
Mrs. Mallow graduated from Harman High School in 1953. She was a member of the Dryfork Assembly of God church, and the Women's Ministry of DFA. Juanita will be missed by her family and friends who loved her so much.
Friends will be received at Dryfork Assembly of God Church, Wednesday, August 23, from 11 AM – 1 PM, the funeral hour, with Rev. Ric Lewellen officiating. Interment will follow in the Buena Cemetery. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.hinklefuneralhome.com
