Joshua Custer

Joshua Grant Custer, 26 of Deer Park, MD, passed away, Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, a result of injuries occurring from an automobile accident.
Born December 21, 1983 in Morgantown, WV, he was the son of Robert and Patricia (Thayer) Custer.
Josh was employed as a carpenter with Union 1024, Cumberland, MD, a member of the Gorman Volunteer Fire Department, an avid hunter and softball player.
Surviving in addition to his parents are: brother, Jared William Custer of Deer Park MD, and a sister, Aimee Elizabeth Custer at home, his paternal grandparents, Hubert and Mae Laraine (Steyer) Custer, maternal grandmother Bertha (Liller) Thayer and the late George E. Thayer.
The family will receive friends at the Faith Evangelical Free Church,, 1009 Maryland Highway, Mt. Lake Park, MD ,Friday, September 10, 2010; 2 -4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the church, with the Rev. Jeff Kroll and Rev. Lance Rhodes officiating.
Interment will follow at the White Church Cemetery.
